Rulemaking Activities (March 2017)

The Office of the State Fire Marshal has submitted code proposals for the California Building Code, California Residential Code, California Electric Code and the California Fire Code.  The versions submitted to the California Building Standards Commission for the Code Advisory Committee can be found at:

  • OSFM code proposals for the California Electric Code will be heard by the Code Advisory Committee on Feb. 13th, 2017.
  • OSFM code proposals for the California Building, Residential and Fire Codes will be held on March 28th, 2017.
