Current Situation

Situation Summary

The complex consists of three large fires in Eastern Fresno County as well as several smaller fires. Over the next 72 hours, we will continue to see an increase in temperatures and low relative humidity which could contribute to increased fire activity. Firefighters continue to actively fight fire, and work on strengthening/improving containment lines. 

Current fire updates:

Flash Fire - Kings Canyon & Cove Rd, 3,600 acres, 18% contained.

Bolt Fire - Palomino & Elwood Rd, Wonder Valley area, 5,358 acres, 18% contained.

Hog Fire - Watts Valley & Hog Mt. Rd, 266 acres, 40% contained.

Fire is making significant runs, topography, and winds are influencing fire behavior.

Fire is impacting communication and power infrastructure.

Evacuation Centers

The Red Cross has an evacuation shelter open at Reedley College (995 N Reed Ave, Reedley, CA 93654) for evacuees displaced by the Flash Fire & Bolt Fire in
Fresno County. (People and small animals)
Volunteers will provide safe shelter, water, meals & additional resources to individuals & small pets & small fowl.
