Current Situation

Situation Summary

The complex consists of three large fires in Eastern Fresno County as well as several smaller fires. Over the next 72 hours, we will continue to see an increase in temperatures and low relative humidity which could contribute to increased fire activity. Firefighters continue to actively fight fire, and work on strengthening/improving containment lines.

* The Flash Fire and Bolt Fire have merged as of this morning, but their size and containment will be noted separately below.

Current fire updates:

Flash Fire - Kings Canyon & Cove Rd, 3,600 acres, 18% contained.

Bolt Fire - Palomino & Elwood Rd, Wonder Valley area, 5,358 acres, 18% contained.

Hog Fire - Watts Valley & Hog Mt. Rd, 266 acres, 40% contained.

Fire is making significant runs, topography, and winds are influencing fire behavior.
