Current Situation

Situation Summary

Crews working overnight Sunday did a good job of tying in and constructing containment lines on the north side of the fire. On Monday, firefighters will work on completing control lines along that north Branch. Wilbur Springs became an area of concern on Sunday because of observed spotting, but firefighters did a good job defending structures and to date we have no reports of structures damaged or destroyed. Smoke will continue to be produced Monday as fuels in unburdened pockets within the control lines become ignited.
