Current Situation

Situation Summary

The Park Fire is being managed under Unified Command with CAL FIRE and the Lassen National Forest.

Containment on the fire continues to increase and remains inside control lines.

Crews are continuing to deepen mop-up operations, remove hazardous trees, and patrol for spot fires to ensure the fire remains within its perimeter. Fire suppression repair crews are working to repair any effects to local resources resulting from fire suppression.

Overnight humidity was moderate with lighter winds. Warm, dry and breezy conditions are expected today and tomorrow. Cooler conditions and an increasing chance for higher humidity is expected this weekend.

All evacuation orders and warnings have been lifted. Repopulations are ongoing and we ask that you stay cautious as crews will continue to be working in the fire area.

As you return home from evacuations, please remember to keep an evacuation plan with your family. For more information on emergency readiness, please visit www.ready.gov.
