Current Situation

Situation Summary

Today, firefighters continued strengthening and reinforcing control lines around the fire. Crews continue to address hot spots within the interior of the fire. Damage inspections are ongoing, and crews are conducting mop-up operations around structures within the fire line. With warming and drying trends expected in the coming days, crews will continue to aggressively establish containment lines.

The evacuation center at Temecula Valley High School is closed and the evacuation center is now available at Hamilton High School.
