Pipeline Safety Division - Pipeline Location Request
Pipeline Location Requests are typically submitted to State Fire Marshal (SFM) as part of an initial environmental site assessment. SFM receives over 1,300 Pipeline Location Requests per year. Many of these requests do not have SFM jurisdictional hazardous liquid pipelines at or near the location. In order to provide pipeline location information more efficiently, the State Fire Marshal has compiled a list of counties without SFM jurisdictional hazardous liquid pipelines.
