Responsible for developing and proposing regulations.
The primary enforcement and education entity for the application of the laws and regulations relating to fire prevention, life safety, fire protection systems and building construction.
Providing licensing, listing and certification services, fireworks disposal and fire/explosion investigations.
Regulates and inspect approximately 4,500 miles of intrastate hazardous liquid transportation pipelines throughout the state to ensure compliance with federal and state pipeline safety laws and regulations.
Establishes, develops, and delivers standardized training and education.
Includes the following programs: Wildland Fire Prevention Engineering, Fire Plan, California Incident Data and Statistics Program (CalStats), & Land Use Planning.
