KIDDE Recalls TruSense Alarms

On May 6, 2021, fire safety products manufacturer Kidde recalled Model Series 2040, 2050, 2060, and 2070 Smoke and Combination Smoke/Carbon Monoxide Alarms due to risk of failure to alert consumers to a fire.


KIDDE Recalls Dual Sensor Smoke Alarms

On March 21, 2018 smoke alarm manufacturer KIDDE issued a recall for combination photoelectric and ionization smoke alarms model PI2010 and PI9010.

KIDDE Recalls Fire Extinguishers with Plastic Handles

On November 2, 2017, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Kidde issued a safety recall regarding Kidde’s Plastic Handle Portable Fire Extinguishers.  The recall involves 134 models of Kidde fire extinguishers manufactured between 1973, and 2017.


Universal Security Instruments Recalls Smoke Alarm

Universal Security Instruments in conjunction with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced a recall of smoke alarm model numbers MI3050S and MI3050SB. Consumers owning these two devices should immediately inspect their alarms.
