The Community Wildfire Mitigation Assistance Statewide Clearinghouse (CWMA) is dedicated to building a comprehensive resource hub that benefits state, regional, and local entities. This Clearinghouse allows you to share relevant documentation and information with the broader community. By contributing, you're helping advance our collective understanding and readiness in wildfire preparedness, mitigation, and risk reduction.

We encourage document association with community wildfire programs like Fire Hazard Severity Zone, Building in the Wildland, and more. Submitters can identify any additional programs via "Other Program" in the dropdown.

Accepted document types include data, guides, regulations, training materials, and more. Submitters can propose additional categories related to wildfire efforts via "Other Category" in the dropdown.

All submissions undergo a thorough review by CAL FIRE for relevance, accuracy, and adherence to guidelines. Approved content is posted within 30 days, ensuring the Clearinghouse's quality and relevance.

Instructions for Submission:

1. Contact Information: Kindly provide accurate details to facilitate communication in case we need to seek clarifications regarding your submission. Your submitted contact information is strictly for internal use and will not be shared or distributed.

2. Document Details: Provide a descriptive title and specify the relevant program and category. This helps in effective cataloging, ensuring users can easily locate and benefit from your contribution.

3. File Attachment: Ensure your document is in .pdf, .doc, or .docx format and does not exceed 100MB. Verify that the content is accurate, up-to-date, and does not include personally identifiable information.

4. External Web Page URL: If the document or resource is online, please provide a direct link for easy access.

5. Required Fields: After completing all mandatory fields, review the user agreement to activate the 'Submit' button. Our team will thoroughly review your contribution, and upon approval, it will be posted to the data center within 30 days.
